A few final photos of the Scammell. I will not be doing any further modelling over the next couple of weeks.

In the under cab storage are liberated 'Jerry cans', British 'flimsies' of water and a couple of cans of oil.

I thought that I had got the tread right on the front wheels of the tractor, it seems I was wrong so the right hand wheel is incorrectly shod, unfortunately I cannot 'whip the tyre off' and turn it round.

All it needs is for me to wish you all a very merry Xmas and happy New Year. See you in 2017.

Excellent job Tony; that looks a treat and well worth all your extra work

Merry Christmas too, to you and yours; see you on the water in 2017 hopefully!

Thankfully all's well that ends well Tony (dropping completed or mostly completed models is one of my special talents, oh yes, I'm very good at doing that  ) and you've ended up with a seriously good looking Scammell tank transporter together with its Matilda load. All the very best for Christmas and the New Year.

Looks like a proper tank transporter to me. It is such a nice model and you have build it up beautifully.

Again, I thank you all for your very kind comments on this model. I will do a bit more weathering in the New Year and complete some of the details on the trailer. I've promised myself that I will completely clear away my modelling paraphernalia over the Xmas period (even though I'll not be here. I am hoping that, in so doing, I will find some of the bits that have 'tweezer pinged' into the far corners. After the Scammell is finished I've a decision to make on 'what next'.

The kitchen table and, indeed, the kitchen is pretty much devoid of any modelling items. Everything has been put away until the New Year. Christmas has produced just one item to do with modelling - a 'Chopper 2' styrene cutter, it will replace the relatively flimsey plastic item I have been using. The Chopper is built very well but has the rather quaint 'imperial measurements' on it!
