That's looking good Ratch - it's a great looking aircraft in that all black scheme!

I found this wargaming set while in Sandown, IOW. It's by Perry Miniatures, called Travel Battle, and the figures are 8mm tall
Image
I started painting them (quite coarsely) and for comparison, the figure sitting on the woods is 1/72

Very nice indeed - is that the Duke of Brunswick on the Duke's left? Always my favorite Napoleonic uniform.

Excellent work, Ratch, the Airfix Waterloo farmhouse turned out very nicely as indeed have your figures. Those 8mm figures are something else - did you have to get a magnifier out?
Doing - Tamiya 1/35th Universal Carrier.

Work is the curse of the modelling classes!

There are smaller scales than that - I think 2mm (1/600) is as small as it goes, but the joke in wargames circles is it's only a matter of time before the 1mm figure makes an appearance. Regardless of that, there's some very skilled 20mm painting going on there. Respect is due, Ratch, keeping the traditional scales alive. :-D
