Nice work as usual Ratch. I'm with Shaun in that we don't get enough Italian stuff on the forum. I think I'll go through my stash 8-)

I quite like the way Italeri join their tracks, much better than Airfix (on the Carro Armato at least) :ha:
Speaking of which, Aussie markings going on

The Autoblinda progresses too

Nicely done Ratch and these look to be a great trio of kits. Looks like the Carro is going to be a captured example then? I didn't know the Aussies ever pressed any into service.

Yes Shaun, they captured them at Tobruk - 11/39s and 13/40s

Things were going well with the Carro Amarato

Having painted the odd bits, I wanted to add some Mig Pigments and used their Fixer, when this happened
Image
No obvious reason for it, and it will cause a problem fixing it

The Autoblinda is about at the weathering stage too

So is the Sahariana

That's a real bind with the Carro Ratch as your trio of Italian vehicles are coming along very well - if the pigments and the model paint are both acrylic or both enamel based then that could be the problem. I usually try to differ the washes from the paint to avoid a reaction, my normal practice being acrylic paint on the model and oil paint washes diluted with white spirit.

That's a shame about the reaction between the paint and the weathering; what did you use for both?
The vehicles look excellent though!
Best wishes

I use Vallejo acrylics and when I thin the Mig Powders its with white spirit. I'm not sure what medium the Fixer is, but I'm pretty sure the tracks reacted to it  I'll move the split under the guard and plaster it with mud to hide the join

The biker is Sexy Moto Girl, I bought on e-bay to go with the bike :ha:

Sounds like a plan to fix the tracks Ratch.

Sexy Moto Girl - hayull yeah!

And after that bit of US style Les Dawson-esque excitement, I'm sorry for the inevitable nerd question - but what's the bike? :ha:

Just had a look through your individual themed galleries Ratch. Great work on all of them. Is there an Airfix kit you haven't built?
