new kit

Hi i have recently bought a new spitfire mk 2 by revell in 1:48 scale, however i don't understand the paint list. i have attached the list, sorry it's not that clear.Image

The number is for the Revell paint colour, the letter you will see linked to parts of the kit as you work through it. For example, I can see that letter G had been allocated to paint colour 99 which is Aluminium. If you are not using Revell paints you will need to find the equivalent for whatever make you are using. So if you are using Humbrol the paint to match the Revell is 56 Aluminum.
If you Google revell paint equivalents you will find a number of charts that will give you all the equivalent paint numbers for all the major manufacturers
