Re: iggie's modelling table
Eventually I'll camouflage the table totally to blend in with the rest of my bench....then it'll be mine I tell you, all mine.....
Best wishes

If you can walk away from a landing, it's a good landing. If you use the airplane the next day, it's an outstanding landing

Re: iggie's modelling table
And we're done on the 109G; a couple of quick pictures while the matt varnish dried
Except postimg.org isn't playing nicely tonight so it'll have to wait until tomorrow now!

Re: iggie's modelling table
Blimey that looks good, as in really, really, good
Alas, I see the kit markings have fallen foul of the usual political correctness and I don't think I have any 1/32 swastikas in my decal bank. I'll double check just to make sure as many moons ago I had a Revell 1/32 109F that probably never got as far as decalling. If I find anything useable I'll let you know.

Really good work on the Gustav

Very very well done.

Re: iggie's modelling table
Thanks guys; it has been a fun build and has also caused me to look at my 1/72 stash more carefully! No decisions yet, but......
Anyway, the full set of glamour shots:

Re: iggie's modelling table
That really did turn out well Iggie and the Gustav has great lines, especially when not burdened with those under wing gun pods or rocket tubes that were fitted for Reich defense duties.
Doing - Tamiya 1/35th Universal Carrier.

Re: iggie's modelling table
Thanks guys; I would certainly agree the the G has some classic lines, and it looks good in the cabinet too!
Moving on from my foray into 1/32, we're back to earth with a bump and the Tamiya (Italeri re-boxing) 1/72 SH-60 Sea Hawk. NOT a great kit fit-wise it has to be said, and this is already a chore of a build . However, build it I will and so here we are so far:
Actually, we're somewhat further along with (as in fuselage buttoned up and painted!) this so I seem to have lost some photos somewhere ! I'll get some later and post 'em up

That's a glorious Gustav Iggie. I particularly like the smooth job with the camo.

Re: iggie's modelling table
Thanks Shaun If I do say so myself, it's already better than the box picture of the completed model! I'll post some glamour shots and one of the box front tomorrow
Learning to use my airbrush at lower pressure helped a lot
And now for something completely different!
Next on the table is the new Hobby Boss French Danton in 1/350
