painting

Post by alecras234 »

Hi im building the cockpit of a mk2 spitfire in 1 48 scale, im finding the cockpit parts a little fiddly while painting.   I can't use both hands, i had thought of using blue tac to hold parts while i paint, but do i put the blue tac away when i've finished modeling or can i leave it out on my bench?

Leave it out, it won't harm it. I have a blob that lives on the corner of my bench for attaching small parts to coffee stirrers and the like that must have been there for three or four years no and it still works fine
Best wishes

If you can walk away from a landing, it's a good landing. If you use the airplane the next day, it's an outstanding landing
