decals

Hi im building a revel 1:48 mk2 spitfire but the decals aren't sticking onto the model. I'm putting clear coat of humbrol clear then putting water to where the decal goes then sealing it with humbrol decalfix but it won't go down onto the model, why?????????

Possibly too much water; one you have soaked the decal in water to free it from the backing paper, try adding a dab of decalfix to the model, and set the decal onto that rather than water. You could be washing the 'glue' from the decal by using water

add a few drops of white glue to the water

it's ok it's stuck down now, gave it a coat of clear to seal it.

Just what Iggie said, putting a few dabd of decalfix on the model.
