Post by alecras234 »

Hi I have a model on my bench that's been there for weeks. I dont feel inspired lately, where do I find inspiration?

You'll find it in a dictionary somewhere between insatiable and intelligent! :ha:

Happens to all of us from time to time. I pick up a model magazine and read a good build article. Or review websites on the hobby. But remember: It is a hobby and sometimes the mojo disappears for awhile. Don't worry about it.

If you´re not enjoying a build put it away. Try a simple a build, new tool airfix 1/72 are great for this, or just wait untill your mojo comes back. It might take a year! I was recently struggling but its fun again now!

As above, there's never a right or wrong way to recover your inspiration to build....leave it for a few weeks, or start a new kit and see how that goes, read a magazine or look on eBay for kits and buy something entirely different to your normal aircraft. But most importantly, don't worry! It happens to us all, and if you force yourself to build, you'll end up worse.
Best wishes
