Re: Jeff’s Heavy Industries
Looking forward to the Bradley, Jeff. Although over the years I've largely built in 1/35th when it comes to military vehicles, more recently I've rediscovered the joys of building in braille scale and this Trumpeter offering looks good.
Doing - Tamiya 1/35th Universal Carrier.

LOL! It's obviously taken a wrong turn somewhere!
Nice looking Bradley kit, looks similar to the Trumpeter Abrams I have.

Re: Jeff’s Heavy Industries
More progress to report.
Basic interior mounted. Details on the sidewalls need to be added plus
a compartment wall to install. I plan on having the hatches open but you won’t see much.
Road wheels and tracks added now. Again, once the side armor is installed, so much will be covered up.
My homemade base. A section of Iraqi pipeline that needs protecting. Good ol’ Cell-u-Clay with some rubble and fine beach sand. The pipeline is Plastruct tubing. I built this a while
ago before I knew what to put on it.
The finished project will fit something like this.

Much of the interior is completed now. I promptly broke the steering grips off. I blame heavy sprue gates on this one. Amazed as to the detail in some of these Braille scale kits.

Re: Jeff’s Heavy Industries
Great progress, Jeff and the level of internal detail looks to be really good, rivalling the 1/35th Tamiya example I built a few years ago. That base is excellent and will nicely set off the finished model.
Doing - Tamiya 1/35th Universal Carrier.

Yesterday my local band of pirates, aka model club, had our monthly build-in. So got a lot more done on the Bradley.
A good afternoon communimodeling.
