cromwell mk4

Post by alecras234 »

Hi im building a starter kit by airfix, the cromwell mk4. I'm finding painting the parts before assembly tricky, should i build it first then paint it or would that be more tricky?

I'd be inclined to paint it after assembly; even if the top side had camouflage colours then you can do that afterwards. The running gear will likely be all the same colour anyway

I've always had problems with tracked vehicles, painting any rubber on the wheels when they are all fixed together, so I try to paint in sub assemblies
