Michael's Modellers Mucking About
Re: Michael's Modellers Mucking About
Revell "Eduard" 1-144, Ju-52 kit:well formed and no flashing and good detail.
Since there is alot of window i plan to use Mirco Maskol to mask the clear part before painting.
Migrant is going to print the codes for the Where Eagles Dare, so I will be use only some of these good decals.
I will not be using this paint guide as I am doing the Where Eagles Dare paint scheme.
The instructions look clear and concise.

A classic war film, Michael - starring Richard Burton, one of my favourite actors. I look forward to this one!
Doing - Tamiya 1/35th Universal Carrier.

Thanks Shawn, it is a classic in my book too. it also has Clint Eastwood and Mary Ure. Here are some screen shots of the players in
this war movie classic. I just pick up some humbrol paints for this build. Painting the interior will be the first thing to do.
In the movie it was a civilian Ju-52, my kit has a machine gun on the top of the fuselage but the rest i hope to do accurate to the Where
Eagle dare movie plane.
I liked the movie so much I bought it on itunes hope to get a hardcopy from amazon!

I start to paint the interior of the Ju-52 cabin.
The instrument panel a light grey. Then a decal.
The cabin floor was painted Olive drab. And the cabin partitions are Medium grey.
Also the cabin wall fuselage a Medium grey. Since the spruce were molded the same colour it is hard to see.

Re: Michael's Modellers Mucking About
Good to see you back in action, Michael. I hope you don't mind me pointing out but something doesn't look quite right to me with the control surfaces, particularly the elevators which I think should be level with or hang slightly below the horizontal stabilizers instead of being stepped above as they appear to be - see photos of the actual aircraft higher up in this thread. Same with the trailing edge surfaces although they look better than the elevators.
Doing - Tamiya 1/35th Universal Carrier.
