You are nailing this build. Slow and steady.

Last night I was tired and forgot what step i was on, I glossed before the green camo.

Should I use rubbing alcohol to take off the gloss or paint over the gloss? Then clear again?

I'd go over the gloss; there is no guarantee that only the gloss sms not the underlying colour will come off.......

Thank Guy, I'll breath better when the camo is on and decal are done. haha

I put on a coat of humbrol gloss clear: It does not level out like Klear or Tamiya spray clear.

I see some brush strokes: I forgot the green (i applied late night) I am going to paint over the gloss like iggie suggest....then gloss again to apply

decals.

These paint mixer sometime makes a mess of this small tins....

There is a knack to getting the mixer out of the tin without wasting paint or showering it all over the place; use a finger to slow the mixer down by pressing on the shaft until it has slowed enough to throw paint off gently, then slowly raise the mixer out of the paint tin while still pressing on the shaft. This is very important!
Once the mixer is clear of the paint, turn off the mixer and then clean it by spinning it in white spirit for enamels or water for acrylic
The P40 is looking good Michael!

Thanks for the tip, I try to slow it down by press it down to the bottom of the tin. I add too much thinner bring up the level (when mixing) of paint near to

the lip of the tin. So the lip got paint on it will mixing. I will try slowing the shaft with a finger. It is going to take some practice to master this mixer.

I shut the mixer down before raising up and or out of the tin. Allow the excess paint to drip off then turn it on in a deep pool of thinner (carefully). Then

clean up the mixer with a hand paper towels. I tried to clean the excess paint on the lip with a paper towel too (still makes a bit of mess of the lip and

outside of the tin too).

Thanks it is looking better than my first attempt....

I just add a thin and blotchy coat of humbrol 116 green: I was just going for shape of the camo and will add a coat or two to fill it in.

I will also try get accurate curved camo....just doing free hand and by eye to the box. I am not going totally by the box art more just a guide.
