Tony's New Table 2018

Post by coptermech »

I picked up some extremely inexpensive acrylic paints at a local craft store, so I've decided to experiment with them and see how they work.

The paints......

And the victim ....errrr, I mean subject ...

All painted using a brush. Trying the paint in my airbrush is next. Hope you enjoy. Finished pics soon.

I was thinking like this when I started modelling again but considering the time and effort spent doing the bloody things I like having somebody else making the right colours for me!

True, it's nice to have the correct colors, but this was to also figure out an alternative for my son to use. He's just happy right now making something that looks like an airplane! !

Nice one, Tony! Great to see another vid. I've subbed yout channel and look forward to seeing more from you and your bench.
I like the F-19 too. Looks so much cooler that the real thing, doesn't it? I keep meaning to pick up the Revell 1:144th kit.

Nice video. I've subscribed as well.

The Sikorsky looks good, so does the George. Looks exactly like one I built years ago.
The Dragonfly is one I've not seen before. Looks like fun.

Nice Video Tony - Looking foward to seeing the F-19 coming together - reminds me of many hours playing Microproses Stealth Fighter on my old Commadore 64! (and then F-117A on the Amiga)

The Geoge looks really good!
Stuart Templeton I may not be good but I'm slow...

Good video update, Tony. A-37 is an attractive aircraft. What scheme are you going with?

Overall white with a red tail and black anti glare panel. It's the main kit choice. Here's a link to the actual kit and box art.

That's a lovely scheme. I painted mine in SEA camo but I prefer the one you are going with.
