Re: Corricon's Workbench Window 2017
Today was the day for the QLR to progress.
I have now cemented the body to the chassis, completed the build of the cab and also added all the ancillaries to the bodywork, replacing some of the resin parts with metal parts from a redundant paperclip:
Next for this one should be some paint.
Updates to follow

Re: Corricon's Workbench Window 2017
That looks very promising, Corricon, the resin body holds some nice detail plus the additional rails that you have added from the trusty paperclip. I've also used paperclips and staples in the past and in addition have a small stock of brass wire and plastic rod for the job. I tend to build older military vehicle kits and can't be doing with the moulded on grab rails often found in them. The wire or rod is soon brought into action with most of my vehicle builds!

Re: Corricon's Workbench Window 2017
Have now managed to get back to these after a break for a build done for another site.
The Chieftain ARV has now been fully assembled to a point where some paint can be applied:
The Saladin now has had a couple of coats of Bronze Green:
Finally for today the Bedford QLR has had a couple of coats of Green in readiness for the 'Micky Mouse' Camo scheme:
Updates to follow.

More of a painting day today.
The Chieftain ARV now has a good coat of bronze green:
and the QLR and the Saladin both got some camo black applied:
More in the next day or two.

Re: Corricon's Workbench Window 2017
Not much to report, however I did manage some markings on the QLR yesterday:
Got some work to do on these decals. The stars were cut from those from an Airfix Cromwell and will need a little paint to get rid of what's left of the circles.
Also I've got some silvering, at present, on the after market unit markings so will need to set to with a pin and some Klear.
Updates soon

Re: Corricon's Workbench Window 2017
It's good to see this pair on their way to completion. The ARV is a mean looking machine and looks ready for some serious work with that dozer blade!

Re: Corricon's Workbench Window 2017
Still waiting for the Klear to dry on the ARV before applying some markings, so I got round to painting the new resin wheels for the Saladin:
Hoping to get these fitted this afternoon as well as the markings on the ARV.
Updates to follow
