The QL Refueller is nearing completion as the mirrors and arms are now fitted, along with the rear doors and some weathering has been applied. There are only the door markings left to apply which should be tomorrow's job as I have applied Klear to the areas in question today:

The QL turned out very nicely indeed, Corricon. Looking forward to seeing more of the Bergepanzer and Matador builds. Top work 8-)

Had a short window for some model work today so decided to start another couple of kits as I've just finished a couple.
So first off I decided to tackle a Mk V CS Churchill tank in 1/76 scale. This will be with the Airfix Churchill plus a conversion kit from B4en Models bought sometime ago. Here are the conversion parts followed by some small progress as it's just the hull assembled before I tackle all those pesky little wheels

I have also decided to start a Centurion AVRE in pre Gulf War livery, again it will utilise the Airfix kit plus a conversion kit from SandS Models again. Parts for the conversion kit and some progress below:

Great work. Especially the refuellers. Very impressive.

All the best.

More interesting AFVs on the go, Corricon. It's also good to see white metal hasn't completely disappeared as a medium for the aftermarket companies in these seemingly resin obsessed times. I may be wrong but I seem to recall B4en is or was a member of this forum.

Possibly, he is a member on the Airfix Tribute Forum, where I found he was manufacturing some conversion kits, but hasn't posted there for a while.

Have managed more work with the MWD Bedford this morning such that it's now just needing paint and then some decals and detail parts adding:

Image

I have also assembled one of the pilots it'll be carrying:

The Centurion now has one side's running gear added and the turret has had more of it's assembly completed and the gun added:

ImageImage

and finally the Churchill has all it's little wheels assembled after a couple of days fitting and drying ready for the track sides (a very patience trying time I might add  ):
