The Tamiya Tape straps have been fitted, cockpit assembled and installed and the fuselage halves cemented together.

Re: Lancfan's Spitfire 16 Blitz fun build
I used Humbrol 30 dark green and 106 Ocean grey for camo and 90 beige green for spinner and 64 light gray for underside.
What are the "wrong colour" are going to use?
The picture you mentioned looks like the same colours?

Revell Aqua 371 for the undersides, Revell Aqua 76 for the upper grey and Humbrol acrylic 66 for the green.

Coming together very nicely, David. As this is going to be a model of a museum exhibit, I presume that is where the "wrong" colours comes into the equation. Museum exhibits can be notorious for incorrect and/or fanciful schemes!
Doing - Tamiya 1/35th Universal Carrier.

Sounds like your on the home run David.
Museums do get bad press for incorrect colours and schemes but that comes from the early days of aircraft preservation when they use what they had to hand. Nowadays proper research and sourcing of correct materials makes the exhibits much more accurate.

If this were a real blitz build it would not make it to the gallery as it is still not finished, I think I will finish around 14:30.
