Lancfan's Spitfire 16 Blitz fun build
After the Frog Vimy disaster I have decided to have a little fun, I don't usually have the time these days to join in with the normal Blitz builds so as I am free this weekend I am going to have a personal Blitz of this AZ Spitfire kit. The build will begin at 12.00 noon tomorrow.

And why not, David? a little light relief is always in order when a more complex build has not turned out as one would have liked!

With a half hour to go here is the pre-start picture of the washed sprues, I'm going to finish this as TE330, currently displayed at the Xiao Tang Shan museum, Beijing, China.

Re: Lancfan's Spitfire 16 Blitz fun build
As I wait for the cockpit green to dry I have cut off one propeller blade and reversed it to match the full size machine which has a wrongly assembled propeller hub.

Off to a good start, David. Great eye for detail regarding the incorrect prop assembly - perhaps the museum should have studied some photos before assembly!

Things are moving slowly ATM Shaun but once the details are painted up assembly can begin and things will speed up.

The wing has been assembled, wingtips fitted and the fuselage is almost ready to be assembled.
