I started to decals the F-16 tonight. Without a doubt, the worst decals I've ever had. They were thick, milky and wouldn't conform to curves, even when using Tamiya Mark Strong Softer. The squadron badges on each side of the intake actually fell off!!!
So The ones I had done were promptly removed and a new set is on order. They are also 363rd TFW in Desert Storm.
Regards, Paddy.

Excellent work as always, Paddy. Shame about the Italeri F-16 decals.

Hope the replacement decals behave better! Thinking about it, although I've built a few Italeri kits I don't think I've ever used the supplied decals; sounds like I may have had a lucky escape or two!
Best wishes

Thanks guys. Iggie, the decals were Cartograf, so I thought I'd be safe. Unfortunately, according to Scalemates, this is the original boxing from 1994, so thats probably the problem. As I'm sure you know, Cartograph decals are usually great.
The new decals arrived a few days ago, so I made a start today:

They are light years ahead of the kit decals. So far I've done the main ones, leaving only the stenciling to do.
Regards, Paddy.

Lovely jubbly, the decals are really bringing it to life Paddy. The F-16 is a great aircraft, a modern classic in fact IMHO. I have the Tamiya 1/48th Block 50 kit in the stash, which I bought a number of years ago.

Thanks Shawn. That Tamiya kit looks ab fab. I've seen build reviews on Youtube. I'd love to get my hands on one.

The Falcon looks great. I have Tamiya's M20 kit, which I think is pretty much the same, other than a different turret. Hope I can get mine close to how nice yours is looking.

Thanks guys.
The F-16 is now in the relevant gallery.
The M8 has been sprayed Olive Drab and given a coat of Klear, ready for decals and washes:
