I did think of that iggie and my new target is now 15.00 hrs GMT which will make just 24 hours from the 16.00 hrs BST start time. I now have 3 hrs 45 min. to the finish, the model has now been painted light grey on the underside using Revell Aqua 76.

Still painting the main colour scheme, the propeller has been assembled and is also being painted, the undercarriage has already been painted and is ready to be fitted.

This is so awesome David! I wish I could get a weekend all to myself to sit at the bench and build. I might steal a couple hour here and there, but it’s rare.
Your blitz is really coming along. Love those Airfix kits.

Great work thus far David. Still following. This kit would make an excellent candidate for a SKGB. plenty of scope for mods and markings.

The 24 hours ended at 15.00 hours so this is now in Flash Blitz DNF mode, still painting !

As stated earlier I am in extra time, now the painting is finished and the decals are about to go on- the end is in sight.
