Smart build Greg, I like the colour scheme it is very different to the usual various dull blues these things wear.
Drone Aircraft could be a good subject for a build theme- or even a GB?

Cheers for the kudos guys.
I had thought of a GB for this subject. If What if's are included ideas like QF16's and QF18's would look cool. The USAF had quite a few types as drones. One interesting one would be the QB17.

Neat idea Greg. Maybe it could be expanded to a sort of "after they were famous" type of thing featuring aircraft in subsidiary roles long after their front-line glory days were over. So trainers, transports, hacks, target tugs, flying lifeboats, drones (naturally) and even range targets.

Got to be a lot of possibilities in there, particularly with the large number of a/m conversion kits available.

That looks brilliant Greg - was it one of the colour schemes with the Hobby Boss kit or have you done it yourself? The reason I ask is I have a 1/48 Eduard Hellcat which I have no enthusiasm for whatsoever but would love to do it in that orange scheme if you have the painting and decal placement plans you could scan for me?

cheers
Al.

Sorry about the late reply Al. The decals were in the kit but this isn't one of the options. The decals were for a standard USN aircraft but I re-arranged them to suit this version. I will post links to the sites where I found the pictures I worked from soon.

I forgot to post these after the vehicle group build.
