Free kits I was given!

Post by HMS Saumarez »

Here’s my current projects. All given to me for free by a friend of the family, only condition was pictures of them built which is quite reasonable. I’m away from my own workbench so bought some glue while I’m down at my grandparents and started putting together this raf ambulance and fire engine set.
The napoleon figure was 20p from an antique shop.

Heres some the anti aircraft gun I’ve done, this is for my Battle of Britain airfield as mentioned in previous threads. Going with a AEC matador lorry.

Yes I’ve done a few posts. Mainly on my airfix 1/72nd scale Battle of Britain airfield which has now been moved to a proper shelf due to silly collie dogs, broke my spitfire landing gear. Repaired now.

Good start! Not sure a 5.5 howitzer would be used for airfield defence though!

That’s going behind my Morris truck with my North African British troops. ;-)

The anti aircraft gun is for my airfield 😁

Your collection is coming along.

I think you might have the 5.5 inch gun barrel upside down, on last Saturday, I went to a military display, I actually took photos of a 5.5inch and thought it might help you.
