Michael's First Zero build

Image

I like Airfix gift set. I comes with brush paint and glue.

Image

Airfix's decal from Cartogragh are excellent and go on well from past kits I have done.

Image

First i am going to wash this well formed kit in three spruce and one clear.

Image

I mainly use humbrol and testor enamel paints and tamiya glue. So I will just use Humbrol 90 for the canopy. (as acrylics you can

clean up any mess) and 90 coal black for the backside of the props and engine cowling for accuracy as I just have Testor flat black.

Image

The kit calls for Humbrol 11 silver/aluminum , 29 dark earth, 85 coal black, 90 beige green.

I have 29 and 90 and going to use Testor's flat black, Aluminum, Cream/Flesh (pilot) and Rubber(Wheels)

Image

The paint/decal guide is well laid out and read.

Wish me luck I am going to need it

Hi Mchael. I built that one last year and it builds very nice.

Actually you may want to create a workbench thread for this. You will attract more attention and potential advise on building it.

Just a thought.

Hi Jeff,

Is it called "Shared build workbench" or Workbench window, is that were i should post this build?

I am new to forum, I am sure the exact name i should put this thread? Or Shared builds?

Michael,

Many modellers have a running "Workbench Window" thread -- that may be the most popular place on UAMF.

Another option is to open a single item build thread in one of the Modelling forums, such as Aviation.

Your choice.

Group Builds and Shared Builds are different in that they are "organized", not just a place for someone to do his own thing.

BTW, I replied to your avatar/profile question under FAQ (Site rules & questions), but I haven't heard from you yet ?

Thanks John, I just found Workbench Window my thread is Michael Modeller Mucking About. Ok if i do any good building I will do a single thread...so

that would be happening for a while haha. I see.

Yes I read your reply and replied (i thought i did). I know nothing remotely about html and codes and stuff. Sorry I was not able to understand it. I

think you only get an Avatar for the levels you have achieved (not for the green horn/newbies) haha. I could be wrong about that?

Figuring if out as I go along...Thanks for help

Thanks John,

I am posting my Zero build in my workbench window. I add 24 alligator clips on to toothpick stuck into a large piece of cork. I only had two and many parts for

detail painting.
