Nice Rudd Ratch! Why on earth B.R. used fish names for their rolling stock I'll never know....!!
Best wishes

Jim

This is all hand painted - I was going to spray but the masking was a nightmare :ha:

Excellent work going on here, Ratch. I also like to see a bit of rolling stock.

Cheers lads - variety is the spice of life
Humbrol Powders AV0003 Sand, AV0006 Iron Oxide, AV0007 Dark Earth & AV0008 Rust with
Mig Pigments P025 Standard Rust, P028 Europe Dust, P033 Dark Mud, Old Rust, P232 Dry Mud & P234 Rubbed Dust
I will probably add Humbrol Enamel Wash AV205 Dark Brown, AV207 Sand, AV208 Dust & AV210 Rust, maybe with more powders ;-)
Its all applied very haphazardly. I dip my brush in white spirit and dab on the model, then pick up a little powder with the brush and stipple in various places, and repeat with another powder and so on, streaking on the vertical surfaces. I found pictures of heavily rusted Rudd on the www and I'm looking for a similar appearance
