Re: Corricon's Workbench Window 2018
The 1/32 scale Crusader now has it's tracks and side skirts fitted:
The Crusader AA Mk1 now has it's decals matted down, a crew fitted and some stowage applied:
I'm just waiting for a brass fret Gun Sight then this one should be complete.
I have now commenced the weathering on the Saracen:
and finally for today I have commenced yet another Crusader this time the ARV version:
Updates will follow.

Did more work to the Crusader ARV this afternoon and managed to get the rest of the recovery gear fitted:
Running gear will be next for this one!

Re: Corricon's Workbench Window 2018
The refurbishment of the Saracen from Mk 1 to Mk III is now complete:
The Crusader ARV now has it's front fenders removed and the running gear attached, so now requires paint:
And finally the 1/32 Crusader has now had all the rest of the parts assembled to it and I have also added a fuel pipe from some soft solder wire:
Updates to follow

That Saracen has turned out very nicely, Steve and your big Crusader is somewhat further down the line than my own! There are great builds going on here.

Re: Corricon's Workbench Window 2018
Have managed to get the 1/32 Crusader's paint work completed. I have also added some extra stowage to the engine deck, turret and on to the sand shield bars:
This will now require some weathering.
I also got the AA Mk 1 Crusader completed as the Gun sight arrived this morning, so that's another off the bench :
Lastly I got a first coat of 'sand' on the Crusader ARV:
Updates to follow.

Re: Corricon's Workbench Window 2018
More great builds, Steve. I think I'm going to scrap the side bars on my Crusader and start from scratch with a mixture of homemade and Academy stowage.

Re: Corricon's Workbench Window 2018
I must admit I thought about it too Shaun, especially as I’ve already built a desert coloured version, as the side stowage is the same. However not having a great deal of aftermarket stuff at the moment I went for adding what I had to what was already there to try and make it look a little bit different, although some of the Airfix stowage does look a bit ‘wooden’ to me. Hopefully it won’t look too out of place in the little vignette setting I’m going to put it in.

Re: Corricon's Workbench Window 2018
The 1/32 Crusader is now complete and waiting to be installed on a small vignette:
Extras include more stowage added to the side rails, stowage on the engine deck and some bags added to the turret. I also added a fuel pipe from the axillary tank to the rear deck using a piece of soft solder wire.
Updates to follow

That's turned out very nicely indeed, Steve. The additional stowage is a worthwhile effort and gives your model some individuality.

Re: Corricon's Workbench Window 2018
I was only allowed to build again yesterday (SWMBO working at home). So I started yet another Crusader, this time the Dozer variant.
Here's the hull and the white metal side carriers dry fitted to the hull:
I am using the S and S Models Centaur dozer kit, suitably modified, to do this one and at present has took quite a bit of filing of the metal to get the side pieces to fit under the track guards.

Re: Corricon's Workbench Window 2018
As many as I can Chris, I have one more to do after these two, that’s a crusader with a sun shield.
I would like to do a gun tractor, but I would need another kit, which I don’t have at the moment.

The 1/32 Crusader is now on it's vignette:
I have also got some paint on the 1/76 Crusader ARV, along with one track and the rear side guards, which I'm doing in desert camouflage:
Updates will follow.
