Today was a 'transfer' day.
Have managed to get the bulk of the decaling done on the Leopard, Kugelblitz, Churchill and the Saladin:




These now need sealing in and some matt varnish, then it'll be on to the weathering.

Had a busy day today. As some builds were coming to their end I thought I'd get a couple more underway.
First off I went for this:



around an hour saw me ready for paint:



OOB apart from drilling the barrel.
Then I thought I'd have a go at this:



The main tub consisted of 5 parts:



I then spent the next couple of hours trying to get one sides suspension together! Very fiddly at 1/72nd scale:



Needing a break from this I decided to complete the Kugelblitz:




and also the Churchill Bridgelayer:

Great collection of small scale armour and other ancillaries. They look very real photographed in front of your back drop.

A little progress over the weekend sees the Leopard now complete:

Excellent work, Steve - we've been away for the week so I missed most of the work as it happened - your vehicle builds are always wonderful pieces to look at.

Some more work this morning this time with the 1/35th Saladin.
I now have most of the ancillaries attached plus I have assembled the white metal crew and given them a quick coating of green:



The 1/76th 105mm gun also has a coat of green too:

Leopard look super.

A nice pair. If the Saladin is in 1970's markings, you might want to consider noticeable sideburns and 'taches on the crew members as I think both types of facial adornments were de rigeur for squaddies back then

I think the markings are for the 60's Shaun, so the RSM would probably have been a little less lenient
Finished off, first this this morning, with a light weathering. The M118 105mm Light Gun in 1/76 scale:



That only leaves two on the bench now, so may be I should break out another

That 105 has made an excellent little piece, Steve. I'm now wondering what is going to be next up on your production line!

The next on my list is a Saracen Ambulance in 1/76 scale utilising this:



All that I have done at present is to assemble the main body tub which is now drying in order for me to remove around 3mm from the middle to give the correct scale length.
In the meanwhile I have cracked on a bit with the 'Stolly':



There are lots of small parts with this kit even the outer seats are made from 4 parts

First visit here and there's some terrific work on display. I'll look forward to the Stalwart - always liked those.

How do you do you pics with backgrounds, please? A base and then a vertical photo as the backrop?

David, it is a photograph that has been bent at the appropriate level and then the bottom of the photo copied and added to it to make the base wider so that the model can sit on it. Very simple really.

You're really cranking out some great AFVs here. It's like an assembly line, one comes off and two go on. Impressive work and everything is looking very nice!

The Saracen now has had 3mm cut from it's length and has been cemented back together, just need a little filler now before continuing:



Spent the rest of the day adding the rest of the detail parts plus the machine gun to the Saladin.
Here it is with those in place and most of the painting complete. Just needs the crew painting to be completed and the wing mirrors to be added, then the weathering and it'll be finished:
