Fast work on the Crusader, Steve. I'm still fannying about fitting parts here and there after a week and I started with a kit more or less half built!

I still have to fit all the running gear yet Shaun, so that's going to add time.
Have managed a first coat of green today though:

Sneaked a quick half an hour and got the sprockets drilled and then assembled along with the front wheels on the big Crusader:

More progress this morning. The Big Crusader now has it's running gear attached and will require paint:

Also in parallel with this one I have fitted the tracks and side covers to the small scale Crusader AA Mk 1:

Should be back to more painting this afternoon with luck.

Nice work. The Crusader has always been an aesthetically pleasing tank so love what you're doing here.

They're both looking excellent, Steve and I agree that the Crusader is a good looking tank.

Great work on the Crusader Steve. Seems to be alot of activity with the Crusader tank lately on the workbench. You have done some really nice work on alot of small kits here.

Had another transfer day today.
First off I got some markings on the AA Mk 1:

Then I decaled the big Crusader:

and finally I got some markings on the Saracen:

Next up they all need some matt varnish.

A great looking trio that are really coming to life with the decals going on.

I am deliberating whether to put the big Crusader into a small Dio as I have a Masterbox set of British AFV figures that I can utilise.
Although they are 1/35 scale and the Crusader is 1/32 I don't think they will look too bad.
It will depict a crew plus one taking a break from proceedings before rejoining the battle:

I have also added a bit of aftermarket stowage too!

I think they look good on the Crusader. I am not knowledgeable about tanks but the size seems fine to me. Good poses too.

There's not a huge difference between 1/32nd and 1/35th and IMHO those 1/35th figures look fine with the tank.
