I can see my table again!

Post by Ross_Mac »

Must have been a few months since the last time I saw any form of order, but I did put the last details on a commission build last week.
To celebrate I put things away and tidied up the detritus. Is it only me or is the gross weight of scraps and offcuts normally around three times the weight of the finished model . . ?

Now we're cleared decks in preparation for dusting off some hangar queens and reducing the 'to-do' list.
Yes, there is actually a 1/48th Airfix Mozzie NFII in the pic. (Mojo went out the window after immense effort and shennanigans getting the kiy canopy on, only to see dull red filler seeped inside the frame - currently reviewing a vac replacement.)

It's not a proper bench unless it's covered with part built kits, scraps of materials, paints and tools! I know when I've finished tidying my bench I never seem to be able to find anything......
I'm a mostly full-time modeller put a part-time poster....

The "odds 'n sods" shelves:

Top shelf, 1/32nd Revell Mozzies and a lot of Airfix.
Descending,
Software, couple built kits.
The "to-do" list of hangar queens and the folder of PE.
Big 'uns - Revell SBDs and 1/24th P-51Ds
Lower - tools, Tamiya 'caddy', the boatload (pun intended) of resin and PE for the Amati Bismarck.
