Hopefully this year I'm going to try and maintain a workbench thread.

On the bench at the moment is this

As part of a larger project I am attempting to convert it into a Zil-131 tractor unit. The reason I chose this kit over the other 131's out there is the rear deck is closest to the rear deck of the tractor so minimizes the work needed............hopefully.

Anyway this is where I'm at now. Rear deck cut down and all raised detail removed then start to build the fifth wheel supports.

That Zil tractor unit conversion looks interesting, Kit and that is great work especially considering the small scale. Really great looking Bradley!

That ZiL tractor scratchup is looking pretty sweet. I tried to do the same with that anemic Zil 157 from the Airfix SAM 2 kit, but would go with the beefier and way more realistic appearance that the ICM truck kits have for sure. That Bradley looks pretty sweet, too. Excellent work, man.
