Looking at pictures before I read words... I thought what a good job you had done with some wire and Tamiya tape making them seatbelt.. They still make the inside look good though... Good workindeed.

Many thanks for your interest folks. I've actually never tried scratching up a seat harness with Tamiya tape and wire, Chris but I have seen others do it. I've used Tamiya tape both on its own (in 1/72nd) and with PE buckles and in fact Tamiya tape is in some respects superior to PE in my opinion as it can be made to fold and hang on the seat of a model more realistically, but the tape sticks to everything (apart from what you want it to  ) and can be very fiddly and annoying to use!

Those are some very realistic looking seatbelts!

I've used Tamiya tape for them myself in 1/72 but always wimp out and just paint the ends silver for buckles.

Yours are worlds better! Top shelf!

Lovely bodging on your bench, Shaun!
The Tamiya 109 is sprucing up very well!

Cheers guys, you are very kind.

Hopefully I can make this Emil look somewhere near as good as that excellent Gustav of yours Ralph!

There's nothing of note to show you further for this year and I am going to start a fresh Bodging Bench for 2018 largely because this one has lost most of its photos thanks to the Photobucket fiasco

So, I wish all of you a Happy New Year and hope that 2018 is all that you want it to be!
