I grew very tired of this kit thus it was rushed into completion. I persevered but mojo is definitely not in a best shape. Instructions defeated me at the end and positioning of outboard pylons was soooooo clear to me ... that I had to go through 10+ frontal photos of the real thing to figure that out. Short run, short life, short fun.

Proper reveal photography will follow within days

For now this 'unofficial trailer' type imagery should be sufficient. Overall, kit gets medium marks for short run and modeller is reprimanded for being quite a hamfisted guy with it, dropping it, spilling glues, using wrong wash and to delicate sanding. Oh well, maybe I'll learn. Stay tuned for proper pics.

Great looking build with the Harrier Marek, with some fine detail
A start on my first kit a Hawker Hurricane as been made, a spitfire awaits in the wings and thinking about models to come.

Modelling space in shed coming along nicely.

really nice work on the Harrier; that last shot looks like a night shoot at a museum
Best wishes

Sounds like this build was hard work towards the end Marek, nevertheless you have done a decent job of it from what I can see. I agree with Iggie, those pics are very atmospheric!

I've been there too when the mojo kind of goes out of a kit. Still you finished it and it looks just fine to me Marek. You said you used the wrong wash. What was wrong with it? Again it looks good to me with the light colour wash over the darker gray.

I think I should put a UMP dark wash early on and then do concrete as a panel wash after gloss. I will test this hypothesis soon on another SHAR (absolutely not MPMs). Mojo came back after I started taking photos. Generally, its completion rejuvenated me after I saw it in the daylight :).

Well, final pics of the SHAR are uploaded to the aircraft section.

Thank You for soooo many good words. Support was needed during the construction, if not for the fact I wanted to torture you all with final product, it would probably end up on the shelf of doom.

I have also moved with the sub a little

Now the fun part with it. :)

It's amazing what natural light will do to the appearance of a model.

I agree, the Shar looks even better in natural light. Great job.

Having the SHAR-MOJO-ANNIHILATOR behind, I had moved on to Trumpeter's 1/48 Attacker.

State of affairs as of tonight:

Typical Trumpeter's fit, very unusual aircraft.
