Henry, you can also find Revell's Cromwell repacked by South Korean brand ACE.

I did not know that Ace did a repack. Is it a straight repack or straight knock-off? Speaking of the Cromwell model, I am not sure of real accuracy but the kit is really sweet. Can't seem to stop praising it.

Marek, based on what I do know about the Cromwell, and judging from your photos, the kit is very accurate.

Henry,
You're welcome. I think I also saw it on ebay listed by few guys from South Korea. Anyway it's a great kit, really worth building it.

Cheers,
Marcin

Small update, not much modelling this two weeks, work, Irene, work and play :) ... with Irene. However I .... did manage to start a new project: 1/72 Fujimi Alpha Jet E which should end up in Belgian markings.

I am not sure if I might be a little too tired or this example is somewhat fiddly and has some fit issues but so far it like to byte me every step. Last example I had done long time ago in 90ies and did not remember it to be too problematic. I have also managed to set meself up a good lightning and foto workshop, which took a long time but I gues it was worth these countless hours spent on craigslist and ebay :). Now I just have to learn how to use my old camera better :).

On a tank front, not much has been done, just bits and pieces here on Ariete. I hope to attack them soon though.

Workings of the slowest modeller in the world included only Ariete. I have put primary camo Nato Green/Brown/Black just to realize that my black (lifecolor) is somewhat spattering, not properly mixing and generally gives me ton of overspray (LC used for previous colors did not do that, all are matt) so I'll have to touch-up later.

I guess its silhouette really reveals the Leo 1 genes :). I like that tank a lot, just like I like that model.

You see? It's almost easy to mistake ariete for Leo1 in a sense.

After more than a year of NOT finishing any model, I have decided to actually make a run for it and build up simple Hobbyboss MS406. Model was sprayed with Model Master enamels (their french WWII range) except that I darkened their Dark French Blue, which still looks way too light. I was trying so much to actually finish the model that I forgot to make a pitot tube on a right wing. I also tried to use Techmod's canopy masks, something I usually do not do, but the lack of canopy outlines on HB kit actually asked for that. That was a mistake. In retrospect I know I would have to go back and refinish canopy lines, but to start small I am pretty happy with the finish as it is for now.
Hopefully, I can actually increase the competion rate two-fold at least by the end of the year :)

Looks great Marek, and I don't see much wrong at all with the canopy framing, at least from that angle.
