Re: Marek's even bigger black hole
Marek has finally said enough time away from workbench today . To restart with something fresh and breeze-like I have decided to tackle two 1/72 kits:
Now, I cannot imagine there was a time I preferred continous rubber tracks! The crusader's are simply awful. Perhaps I could source ones from another cromwell kit or something. I have to look around. However, both kits look quite nice with Revell offering being quite intricate for the scale. I hope I can continue this stream for prolonged time.

Hi Marek. That is the most modeling I have ever seen a new father do. You're wife is going to kill you

I just hope we are in business of expansion rather than family contraction therefore I may live little, just little longer. I have to say though, I may have only an hour here and hour there and that only if I do not fall into sleep.

Re: Marek's even bigger black hole
Cromwell is ready for paintshop, crusader is languishing. Meanwhile I am almost finished with 35 Ariete, and built up T-54A from PST (ready for painting). Pictures as soon as I get to the workshop for longer than it takes to come down and go up because I'm needed for something

Re: Marek's even bigger black hole
It's a PST, I decided against sprucing it up with anything more than the air around the turret . Yesterday, I managed to pull off a 15 minutes session of spraying "podkladowka" onto T-54, Crusader, Cromwell and Ariete. All together, with cleanup I had a quarter. I am amazed I actually pulled it off. Apart from inaccuracies in the turret and some sifmplifications, T-54 was actually an OK simple model. No major pains while assemblage phase. Now I have to pull off another "quarter session" to take photos.

Re: Marek's even bigger black hole
hold up, I have a work schedule of a multinational aerospace contractor, so if I say pictures will be posted today at noon, that means only that I know noon exists and my Senior Project Manager can fire up a MS Project and schedule some kind of pics to heat the harddrive any time between now and Christmas

Re: Marek's even bigger black hole
As promised (and after quite a while also as promised ) pics of recreational and agricultural vehicles in black (primer)
First Ariete (1/35 trumpeter), my first venture into 1/35 in years. I like this model, cannot comment on accuracy too much but it a nice time spent building it almost entirely up. (All tanks have hulls still not assembled together for ease of painting)
Group foto of agrotractors: from left - T-54A (PST, will be in Polish markings), Crusader and Cromwell (guess markings )
The Tanka Warszawianka from PST is actually a nicely going together (void of too much detail and somehow with strangely shaped turret ... if you look too long) model. Of course no vinyl was harmed during construction of tracks.
Hasegawa Crusader is well known villain, I almost bought a gun barrel for it, but then WTH, why should I? (I should couse the Hase barrel is a toy like contraption), otherwise a nice model as well
Revell's Cromwell is a real beauty, I like it quite a lot (doing OOB). Everything just wants to be assembled in it ... and looks like Cromwell.
Hopefully I will move forward with production soon, so far, this is it.
Hope you are enjoying what little I showed

Re: Marek's even bigger black hole
Marek, nice trio... Can you bright up the pics?
Let me guess.. all three in proper Polish markings? For Cromwell you're planing "Hela"?
It looks like you have a gap in T-54's track...

Re: Marek's even bigger black hole
Slow and steady wins the race, right?
That Revell Cromwell is a really nice looking model. I have one in 1/35 that I built as General Maciek's command tank with the wooden gun. The kit you have there looks like it has as much detail as my bigger scale one. It is amazing how good 72nd armor kits have become in the recent years.
