Me too! I kind of wish I'd kept the one I sold earlier this year now!

Love that Lynx - top build.
Looking forward to seeing that AMX completed. The AMX-13 has a really nice look about it.

AMX being worked on; lovely kit, no problems presented at all. Plastic is very forgiving, PE are easy to work and relatively thick so you don't plunge into thinking that reflector cage doubles as a pork/human meat slicer. Engineering of the kit is not there yet with Tamiya but Takom is learning fast. This is my first time with Hakata paints and ... it will be the last, most probably. ..."I know it is me, honey, but many other paints are much less finicky and much safer" ... Of course, it did not attack me or something but the learning curve is non-quadratic and unpredictable with these. I tried black, sprayed without thinning as they recommend, ended up throwing black blobs out of splattering airbrush. Thinned it with water, windshield wiper fluid, MrHobby self-leveling thinner, IPA, 7 paint/3 ipa - clogger and bugger. 5/5 plus flow enhancer/retarder - nice flow but needs 100 coats to cover and a nozzle wetting every 3 seconds. Varied air pressures, needle sizes and spent 3 hours getting black on a stripe of .5 width around the turret, masking it and then getting semi-consistent coat of French desert sand on. Don't get me wrong, I love the finish now, came out as a semi-matt egg-shell but I do not want to spend weeks to put a camo on a model, since each color will behave differently. Hataka, you guys are rock with colors, suck with application. Of course, I assume the problem is with how I do it but we can use gunzes, tamiyas, lifecolors, xtracolors, kcolors, xcolors, zcolors and about fifty others with known qualities and vices. Why on earth would I spend so little time I have on having to learn ... how not to do things. :) End of a rant. :)
