Martin's corner

Post by Impisi »

Well it's not not happening that much in here, I just found a corner in the new house where to put a small table, so some day I'll get back to it

Thanks to jRatz, who found my old name in here, malepo, some memories are coming back ... dont go searching for any posts as the images are all missing. Longer story short, my email was hacked so I deleted anything related to it.

Vacant's Fairey Delta FD.1 reminded me on a series of british deltas I did

Image

Yes, Deltas and flying wings, those were my favorites and still are. The real beast is the Testors B-2 in 1/72

This beast took me almost a year, if I remember correctly

another thing I almost everytime did ... let them fly

That's the Testors kit?! Wow, you've done a tremendous job, Martin - I recall it being a pig of a kit.

That is a truly amazing B2 and to include the 'Remove Before Flight' flags as well, excellent
It's only pain, work through it.

Cool - I love flying wings and deltas, they're almost as cool as swing wings! Great looking builds and I hope you get back to your corner!

It's really great to see you back, Martin and I can remember being impressed with your work back in your Malepo days. Your collection of deltas is excellent and that big B-2 is seriously good.

Nice triangle collection!

The B-2 looks super impressive. And welcome back. I recognized the dinosaur face before I recognized the name. Glad to have you back in whatever form you come in :D

Just had a look at the old "Martin's Cave"

the last post in there was
malepo wrote:Hi all,

for those wondering, if any :) why nothing is happening here.

As our kids are grown up and left home we started to reorganize our hut, so I'm just busy painting rooms and such. My bench corner isn't existing for now, it'll move to a bigger room :)
This was 9 years ago ... it happened that much ... good, bad and ugly ... I sold my complete stash , well almost, I do have 28 kits left, we moved almost 1000 km to a new home, 2 years ago - ah well still kicking

So, next step will be to arrange my corner and then start a new one

You made me feel particularly old, so I checked and your last post was only 2015! I was worried I'd lost some years somewhere

Good to have you back, I always enjoyed your modelling.
