Great beach scene and love the colour of the buggy.

Sweet B-17 as well. She's a beaut.

Thanks all.

On to the Dragonfly. Starting off with the cockpit.

Image

For the first time I used Liquid Gravity in the nose. Time will tell if that proves to be a wise choice or not.

The fusalage then went together pretty well.

Next up I'll be looking to attach the wings.

Nice B17 and good progress on the Dragonfly.

Let me know what you think of Liquid Gravity as I was considering ordering some.

Thanks OT. It feels pretty heavy. I'll let you know how it goes when the undercarriage is on.

Good progress on the Dragonfly, Narayan. Hopefully there's enough weight in there to prevent the dreaded tail sit. I've yet to try that liquid gravity stuff and I'm still persevering with squashed .177 air rifle pellets!

I always liked the look of the Dragonfly, it looks so right from any angle, unlike a lot of a/c from that period (F4 for example, practical but not good looking)
My work bench is starting to look like Portsmouth Naval Dockyard.

Love the Buggy and the B.17, I'll keep my eye on the Dragonfly. I have one tucked away somewhere.

Nice work so far on the Dragonfly Narayan. The cockpit and especially the ejections seats are looking great. How did you do the seat harnesses? They are very convincing!

I have to admit those are resin seats so I can't take any credit for the quality.

Wings have been attached to the Dragonfly.

And it is now primed and ready for painting.

Great work, Narayan. I've always liked the look of that Academy Dragonfly kit.

Quite a few people I know have built this kit and not a single bad word have I heard about it.

I started painting the Dragonfly last night but there isn't much to show at the moment.

In the meantime I took my old builds out of storage yesterday. We moved house in 2012 and 2017 so a lot of these have been packed away for quite a while.

There's quite a bit of repair work and dusting needed there but that is for the future.
