Re: Shane's bench .
Finished the A-10 and Mig 21. Almost done with the Mig 27. I can crack on with the Buckeye now for the Matchbox group build.
Re: Shane's bench .
Great work on the A-10 and Mig 21 Shane. The camo on the A-10 is sweet. One purpose built aircraft. The Mig is really nice too. Not sure what what's a three footer?

Have to echo everybody else some really sweet completions. The A10 looks very nice - I was building one during desert storm but lost heart in it when there was a friendly fire incident. Remember chatting to a couple of pilots at an airshow once, I had to ask what it felt like to fire that gattling gun!

My former boss was part of the team that dealt with the Warriors after they were hit by the A-10s. Not a pleasant job.Stamford wrote:Have to echo everybody else some really sweet completions. After completing what I thought was my best work for a good while on the A-10 ,I'm currently going through a "lets make a pigs ear of everything" period. I think I will kick the old kits on to the shelf of doom for a while and see If I can get back in the zone with something younger than 10 years.

They do look good in NMF, I have the club boxing with the F86; the camouflage for the mig looks a real challenge!
Best wishes

Re: Shane's bench .
Had a bit of a slump but finally pulled my finger out and got the Chinook that was a DNF for the group build closer to the finish line. The decals are a bit gloopy but a swish about with a wet brush gets the white gunge away. The black squares on the fuel fillers are still a tad wrinkly from sol/set.
