Excellent work as ever Santiago and the figure work portraying your father's trip to East Kirkby is especially good.
Your father is a maestro of modelling :-D
Best wishes

Many thanks for your comments iggie

My father has built a couple of more captured Me109.

After a preliminary analisys the final number of Me109 will probably be around 23 models which is not a "small" quantity.

The problem is that we only have 4 more kits. Now we are thinking about how to get the others 12 kits.

Here are some potos:

4) The Messerschmitt 109 G-14 “Black 10” (Croatian identity number 2110) piloted by Fw. Josip Cekovic landed at Jessi airfield. The aircraft was captured by 3 Wing SAAF staff. (Reference: “Captured Me-109 's: Jacek and Wawrzynski, Miroslaw Jackiewicz book”)

5) Messerschmitt Bf 109 G-6/u2 (White 16). TP814. The aircraft landed by mistake on July 21st, 1944 by Lt Horst Prenzel of the I/JG301. It was tested at RAE Farnborough (Reference: “Captured Me-109 's: Jacek and Wawrzynski, Miroslaw Jackiewicz book”)

6) Messerschmitt Bf 109 F-4 captured. (White 6, Werknemmer 13010 of 4./JG 27). The aircraft was used by 7 sqd SAAF staff at Marble Arch Airfueld, (Reference: “Captured Me-109 's: Jacek and Wawrzynski, Miroslaw Jackiewicz book”)

7) Messerschmitt Bf 109 G14 AS “Black 4” was piloted by Sandtler who deserted and landed in Falconara. (Reference: “Captured Me-109 's: Jacek and Wawrzynski, Miroslaw Jackiewicz book”)

Some lovely work again Santiago.

The 109's look very good on the shelf and I love the fact that your Father has modelled himself in the Lancaster etc.

Intriguing. Didn't know that the Brits flew the MB 411; was it one that had served aboard the Surcouf and they wanted FAA kit on it? Nice work all round as always. Very ambitious!

More excellent models, Santiago, the "captured" '109 collection features some very interesting markings. Looks like your dad enjoyed his trip over here very much and the figures representing himself and also Phil Cater of IPMS (UK) are great additions and bring a fun element to the builds!

Good to see you guys are keeping yourselves as busy as ever!
The East Kirkby models are such a good idea!
How come you did not feature in any photos and models?

Many thanks!. Yes, he enjoyed very much!

That is right. Many thanks.

Are you referring to the captured" '109 collection?. Well it is not a very big series, just aprox. 23 models.

Many thanks. Yes, he really enjoyed the trip. He went twice. During his first trip he saw the Flying Legend, RIAT and more shows and Museums. The following trip was to participate in the Model Show in Teldford with his 47 Miles. He could rest in peace now. :-D :-D :-D

Can I become your display cabinet supplier? I'd like to retire comfortably. ;-)
What a wonderful collection of exquisite models. They seem to be churned out in factory assembly line quantity. Bravo to your family of fine modellers.

Well, we can talk about it. :ha: :-D

Many thanks for your comments guys.

My father has run out of Me109 kits so he must put the production line in stand by.

I would like to make a special thanks to Dave Flemming for his highly valuable assistance in this matter. He has helped my father with a lot of photos and knowlegde of this not easy colour camouflages.

Here is the last model done.

10) Messerschmitt Bf 109 G-2 W. Nr unknown, GL ?. Apparently it was used for fast communication by the No 180 RAF Sqdn in North Africa during 1943
