Many thanks in return. Yes, it's 1/72nd; the old Airfix kit.

If you do one in SEAC markings, remember to check the size of the spinner. The one I did should have had a larger one! In fact, I think the carburettor intake could also have had a dust filter incorporated. I may have some pictures somewhere.

The lysander in desert colors looks very interesting, as does the hurricane FI-D. Do you know anything about the history of this aircraft? Why did it have its cannons removed?

I will check our reference but I remember that this Hurricane was mentioned on the Manson's book with a little photo of it.

Here is a little update on these Lysanders. My father has been working hard in order to get the correct decals. In some cases he made them by pieces like the Enamelled Polish Air Force symbol in one fuselage.

Hi

The first batch of the Lysander series is also finished. I am really happy with the result .

My father has dedicated a lot of time in order to improve the original kit.

3) Westland Lysander Mk III V9576 AR/N – 309 Sqn (Polish) – Ipswich - December 6 1941 – Scorch exercise.

The anti invasion exercise was "SCORCH" held from 14 hs on Saturday, December 6 to sunset on Sunday, December 7,1941
309 (Polish) Squadron was involved in Exercise Scorch.
There is a photograph of Lysander V9576 AR*N which has a black letter N under the starboard wing. There is also a photograph of the aircraft from the other side and the port wing could be black underneath.
