More superb work guys. Very impressive. I am looking forward to following the P51 builds. It's a pity I couldn't meet up with your father when he came over here. It would have been an honour to meet him.

All the best.

Greg

Always class models from your father, Santiago and in these series builds I nearly always see versions that I never knew existed of a type that I'm otherwise quite familiar with! Wonderful.

¨Both engine and airframe experimental work was carried out there starting in the middle of 1941 and not ending until late in 1944. The Merlin XLV was fitted in June 1941 followed by a Merlin XLVI. The pilots canopy was retained and the retractable fairing behind it locked in the down position with the turret faired over. Carburetter development also came within the aegis of Farnboroughs work especially at high altitiudes. N3512 flew some 70 hours in theses tests

Some terrific work here as always. That is a lot of Defiants! Are the target tugs modified Airfix kits or that odd one from Pegasus?
