Hi Ratch, good looking start. With canopy masking, I find it hit and miss most of the time. For the really complicated ones, like your Blenheim, I sometimes cut thin strips of tamiya masking tape and paint them the colour I want, then stick them on to form the canopy frame. Here is a B25 I did some years ago with that method. Please excuse the poor quality workmanship, it was pre airbrush days.

Sometimes I put the canopy framing down with a Ruling Pen, I'm not keen on the tape approach.

The Blenheim is coming along well and those animals look great and are something different.

I mixed Vallejo Model Color 70847 123 Dark Sand FS33722 with a little airbrush thinner and sprayed selected panels followed by Vallejo Model Air 71001 White FS37925 RAL9016 RLM21 on the underside of the nose.

Both the Starfighter and the zoo crew are coming along very nicely, Ratch.

I have a 1/48 Bucc on the bench. I’ve been picking out instruments with a fine pointed brush.

The seats are not yet fixed.

More painting and decals to apply.
Image

The Blenheim has been sprayed with Vallejo Model Air 71323 BS Dark Earth.
Image

I masked the light panels on the Starfighter then airbrushed with Vallejo Model Color 70890 90 Reflective Green mixed with a little Vallejo Airbrush Thinner.
Image

Nearly there with the animals.
