OK, all caught up.

I have two more 72nd aircraft under way. An Airfix Islander that will eventually be in Jamaican markings (was part of the Small Air Forces GB but a DNF as I need to make some additional decals for her and I got tired of sanding).

Also have a Hobby Boss P-38 under way as part of the P-38 GB. Mine will end up in Honduran markings because I like small air forces and I have to be different.

Two more review kits have also arrived:
The Moebius Colonial One in 1/350th scale from the Battlestar Galactica remake series and the latest version of the Airfix C-47, the Douglas Dakota Mk.IV. Really not caring for the kit decal options so looking for something a bit more my speed. May end up in D-Day markings from their earlier version (which is in the stash) or Israeli or another small air force. Will have to see what decals I can come up with.

So, the bench is getting pretty busy and our Regional Contest is coming up in Denver in the next couple of weeks so hopefully something will get done good enough to enter, or not.

Wow some wonderful and eclectic builds you have there Philip. Great stuff.

My favourite has to be the Mormon Mustang. My neighbours are LDS so I will have to show them that. Both bonkers but lovely people.

Well, behind again.

So now, let's see.

The Colonial One got finished but still working on the Dakota.

The Honduran P-38 also got finished. The Islander is on the shelf of doom until I can get the decals sorted.

Also finished the first half of my Dogfight Double GB.

An excellent trio Phil and I can't say I've ever seen a P-38 in Honduran markings before. All very nicely done.

Thanks Shaun.

Colonial One really needs some weathering or something, especially around the windows but after fighting with the decals stripes on the sides I was just glad to get it done.

The P-38 is one of my favorite airplanes and I have a thing for small air forces so when I found the decals, I just had to do it. This one even had a bit of combat.

Hobby Boss easy kit. Definitely the easiest to align.

Well at 9:00 PM Mountain Time I finally finished my other half of my Dogfight Double, the Moebius 1/72nd Colonial Viper Mk. 2. This kit fought me pretty well with trying to get a decent white coat and the seams filled (don't look too close). Then I decided to use the decals and the stripes kept breaking on me. I pieced them back together as best I could and then cheated and used some Tamiya Red to hide the worst bits. The 2nd kit in the box will probably have the stripes painted as masking them has got to be easier.

Also since the Dogfight Double thread is locked here are a few more pics of the Cylon Raider.

And while I haven't come up with a way to mount them yet, here is the Dogfight Double in action.
