Finally finished the He 115.

Glazing wasn't a great fit but other than that it all went together reasonably easily.

Nice to see you building again, Julian - will you be able to come to Telford this year?

Lovely job. You've really brought out the best in that old kit. 8-)

Started work on the Airfix Beaufighter TFX New Tool in it's 27 Sqn Burma guise, the family squadron - although it was Vulcans when my father joined :)

Although it seems to fit OK, I have suspicions that the wing join may be slightly over engineered.

That He-115 looks incredible!

And don't fret about the beaudighter wing. Scrape paint at join lines and it will fit very nicely. The kit is brilliantly designed.

Heinkel looks terrific. The Beau is shaping up nicely.

The Heinkel looks like "brand new kit, brand new mold" amazing job!

make me reconsider to make mine! if mine looks 50 % of yours, it worth it!

I was surprised how well it went together as it was the Revell re-boxing of the Matchbox kit. Definitely a pleasant build, even if there is all that greenhouse to frame :)
