Finally finished the He 115.

Glazing wasn't a great fit but other than that it all went together reasonably easily.

Started work on the Airfix Beaufighter TFX New Tool in it's 27 Sqn Burma guise, the family squadron - although it was Vulcans when my father joined





Although it seems to fit OK, I have suspicions that the wing join may be slightly over engineered.

That He-115 looks incredible!


And don't fret about the beaudighter wing. Scrape paint at join lines and it will fit very nicely. The kit is brilliantly designed.

I was surprised how well it went together as it was the Revell re-boxing of the Matchbox kit. Definitely a pleasant build, even if there is all that greenhouse to frame
