Fancied some colour and here we go . . . All sprayed white and then hand painted.

The Airfix Prototype Tornado GR1 and Italeri MRCA German Prototype. I wonder if I can modify an F3 to and F2?

A bit of a wash and varnish for this one. Managed to crack the canopy somehow.

Now this is the super new Airfix Hawk. After looking at a massive masking campaign, I decided just to spray it in white primer, mask the wings and then just freehand the rest. It looks a bit tatty, but the kit contains a full set of white lines and trims, so all the rough edges will be sharpened. ( I hope) I just used Miniature paints and a Humbrol No 2 brush. Colours are Royal Blue and Scarlet, which look a nice match.

I found this in Boyes. £1.32. They had a lot of the Revell WW1 aircraft in stock. All nice new decals for these old classics. The Camel is super and the decals are sharp as a pin. The Fokker D7 has a lozenge sheet, but just black lines on white and you paint them in following their drawing.

This was in The Works. Loads of different Tanks and APCs for £2.00 each. I washed this one all over to remove the newness. Some aerials and a base and that's job done.

A very colorful display of aircraft, and they look great.

I'm planning later getting a couple Tornados myself. There's some pretty wicked schemes out there.

Splendid job to the Hawk. Quite a complex paint scheme.

Good looking Gnat as well. I really enjoyed building that model. Very small but fun. Sorry to hear your canopy cracked.

Keep up the great work!

I went back some pages here and in your Flickr pics. Indeed, you are a fine modeller; prolific too. I did enjoy the IPMS Tyneside pics.
As it happens, my favorite is the C-47 at the beginning of your window.

Well done

A bit more to tidy up and a coat of varnish. Then we'll sort out a new stand.

I actually fancy building the Revell kit in this scheme.

What a great collection. Outstanding workmanship.

Wow! A pair of MRCA!
MRCA paint scheme it' difficult and you've done an excelent work.!
Sometimes the talent consists exactly in that: try five dozen times when others stop at three dozen...! (F.Labelle)
I think that modeling is a subtle mix of zen philosophy and absolute crazyness - but in my case I would not dare to specify the respective percentage of each......

Wow you do like troublesome colour schemes! Love the Tornado and MRCA at the top of the page - the progression of the Defiant will be very interesting as I´ve never seen one in red white and blue. Make a nice change from the B of B and nightfighter schemes.
