Thank you all for your comments, ans sorry to be so slow!

Mike, thanks for visit mi site! in this days I retake the Gladiator, since I could do a big progress in C-47, and how both kits are for a friend, I try to finish them at the same time.

Image
I think to add some more variants to final green, and at the same time, "may be" do some peeling effect.

Image
I decide not to "overdone" chipping, so, just a little metal would be exposed, I need to remember that this is a BIG bird! and this little peeling metal, are in fact a BIG piece of metal!

Image

Image
Now, is time to put engines, give some grey and try to finish it!

best regards to all, thanks for visit my site, and all your comments, they encourage me to do " little" every day (even some days are 2 A.M or more!)

Henry, you have achieved a very convincing well-worn finish on the Dak.
Top job!

Thanks to all, is not finish yet, but there are just few steps to finish it.

Image
I drill the exhaust system, to make it look better.

Image
first steps in final weathering.

Image

Image
here with the Gladiator, the idea is finish them together.

Image
about the Gladiator, this is such a good kit, that I do not check this fit, and find this surprise! this is the only point that I believe
is no necessary on the kit, I can fix it without trouble, but thinking in youngest modellers, may be they got a trouble here.

Image
Now, I know how to face my own Gladiator!

Image

Image
just a little more job!

regards to all, thanks for watch my work! and thanks for all your comments

Really nice looking Dakota with subtle colour variations Ural. Gladiator is coming along wonderfully. I agree, that the fit of the cowling was a weak part of the kit. Not complaining as it is a great kit. I just filed down the outside of the engine to get it to fit. I was worried the front part of the cowling would not fit if I expanded the rear portion.

This is it. The moment we should have trained for.

Thank you iggie.

I agree with you PGAS, the Gladiator is a great kit, you only need to planning the way to build the engine, or may be mount it complete, outside, before put into the fuselage.

Now I made some more progress on the Gladiator and is very close to finish.

those pics are from the progress of the rigging process

Now I just need some weathering and will be ready!
