Excellent work on the C-47 and Gladiator. I think this (Gladiator) is great kit from Airfix. I found the fit of the cowling over the engine a bit tricky. Taking some time dry fitting was important. Are you doing the ski equipped version?

Hello to all, and thanks for all your comments.

I´m really having so little time to make models, that is really hard to have much progress on my projects.

I was working basically on the Gladiator, to can go finishing projects.

Now I can start final assembly and decalling process

At the same time, I start a Thyphoon from Academy

Your Gladiator is really looking smart now it's fully assembled, are you going to add the rigging?
Best wishes

Thank you all, yes iggie, next step decals and rigging.

I try to do something everyday, yesterday a put a little green on C-47 to start making effects and gloss varnish on gladiator.

the idea is to give some pre weathering process, and then a light coat of green, and after that, make the final weathering.

Image
at the same time, close the Typhoon, I decide to sanded down the stiffeners, and replace the exhaust for the ones of the old Matchbox Tempest

and open holes in the guns!

best regards

Great subjects Henry and well done drilling out the Tiffie's guns - that can be fiddly to do but makes all the difference IMHO.
Doing - Tamiya 1/35th Universal Carrier.

Very nice work on the Typhoon. Were the Matchbox kit exhausts drilled out like that or did you do that too?

Hello to all, thank you for all your comments,

PGAS, no, I got to drill the Matchbox exhaust too!

Slow progress in C-47.

Image
I give another coat of olive drab and start to add final touches to the green.

The idea is to try to imitate large surfaces exposed to weather and use...

I need to finish this models in order to move to my own models! (those are for a friend!)

That is superb work on the C-47; the weathering and difference in tones of the Olive drab is excellent!

More nice work coming off the Ural bench. I agree with Iggie, that's great painting on the C-47, and I'm looking forward to seeing the Gladiator finished.
