Gulf '110 :-D Another classic livery, and well suited to the 110 Image
Best wishes

I've had these 1/32 Revell jets knocking around for years, so finally decided to tackle them all in one go this weekend - they are
the MiG 21, F-16A and MiG 29. All were started to one degree or another. but mainly still in sub-assembly form. Similarly, I am trying to
finish my 1/48 B-58 Hustler as well but I have lost the front wheel pair which is all that is keeping me from completing it after 15 years since
I began it.

Image

The Luftwaffe MiG21 is in the white display scheme, the Luftwaffe MiG 29 will be in green/green/brown camo, and the F-16A will be in a
fantasy WWII Me109 Green Hearts scheme.

Cheers

Good on you for reviving these projects, Al.
Your B-58 has been on the backburner even longer than my Italeri 1/72 version (maybe 12 years), recently finished.
So there is always hope!

I've not updated my Bench for a while but here is my current project - Airfix 1/24 Hurricane in a Fokker D.VII colour
scheme - because I want to that's why!!
I have built the Hurricane a few times over since the 70s so wanted to do something different with this one.
I like the Red, White and Blue colour scheme on the Fokker and have seen similar things on the Clavework Graphics
website so did my own little design. I produce my own lozenge decals for the undersides which are a bit translucent
but will have to do.
Interiors are in RLM02 as my backstory is that this is a machine captured by the Luftwaffe early
in the war and rebuilt and painted as a "tribute" to the WWI German Aces. I will have to hand painted the final
markings which is a bit daunting.

Image

I am pleased with the "wooden" propeller - just shades of brown acrylic streaked on the over coated with
Humbrol Clear Orange when dry. I like the brass spinner and wheels as well.

My Airfix P-40 Tomahawk Blitzbau build from last week is now hanging proudly in my secondary work area - my art studio which is a corner of the lounge - although I do do some modelling here sometimes when the wife has some washing on and my main workbench - half of the utility room - is therefore a bit noisy.

That's a great bit of work Al, did you do the background in the 24HR period as well?

Yes mate - that was part of the challenge I set myself. Fortunately tube acrylics dry almost as quickly as modelling acrylics if you keep the layers thin.
