Re: Clashcityrockers Stage
Nice work on the two wagons and great figure painting too
Best wishes
Jim
If you can walk away from a landing, it's a good landing. If you use the airplane the next day, it's an outstanding landing

Those wagons look great Nigel, I wasn't aware that Airfix had done those. I remember having the Waterloo farmhouse in my youth though, in fact some parts of it remain kicking around in my spares boxes and it was the scene for quite a number of wargames!

Re: Clashcityrockers Stage
Finished this for the Me 109 group build
And work continues on the Waterloo gift set. The farmhouse, not yet finished
And the base. Still wet in parts hence the differing colours
Looks a little too red, but it's early days yet. I've got some static grass to sprinkle around, and a lot of small figures to go yet

Re: Clashcityrockers Stage
Nigel you are doing great things on here. The farm house takes me back when I was a kid and so does the Coastal Defence Set. I got one of them for my 9th birthday, or was it 10th? Anyway it feels like a thousand years ago and my kids says yes it was. It all good stuff. I like the Me109 as well. Keep them coming.
Cheers
Ian

Re: Clashcityrockers Stage
Which 109 kit is that, Nigel?
The markings look like those from the 1965 Airfix 109G-6, don't they?
cheers,
David

Great work on the 109. I like the yellow thingies on the machine gun bulges. They look like eyes.
I also like the wagons you did a little back there. Very lifelike.

Re: Clashcityrockers Stage
Thanks for the nice words gents.
David. The 109 is this kit by Airfix
Same kit in different boxes. If I see another I might buy it and do the German version from the top box
PGAS. I reckon they are meant to be eyes. If you haven't got a shark mouth to scare your enemies, eyes are the next best thing
I'll be building this in the Camel group build
Watch the magic happen over there

Looking on the bright side, at least it fell with the interior side down
Best wishes
