Nicely done Clash!
I sometimes have to do this, its all about tucking UK the masking tape and spreying away from the masked area I've found works for me.

Re: Clashcityrockers Stage
Thank you gents. Yesterdays work had the silver leading edges put on
Small touch up required on the port side. Todays effort would have me getting the red on the intake fronts were it not for a leaking toilet cistern I hate doing plumbing jobs. You think you've fixed it and got everything just back how it was, but no the leak is still there It's too hot for this kind of work. Rant over.
More later

Great progress with this, Nigel. Too hot? just the opposite up here, I had to dig out the portable heater this afternoon in flagrant defiance of the Household Chancellor's electricity usage dictat - I'm so brave when she's out
Doing - Tamiya 1/35th Universal Carrier.

Re: Clashcityrockers Stage
That's my worst job when painting any aircraft that needs leading edges in a different colour/finish! A tiny bit of touch up is always to be expected; in my case usually most of the wing....
It was 12 degrees here in MK earlier; I walked to the hospital in shirtsleeves

If you can walk away from a landing, it's a good landing. If you use the airplane the next day, it's an outstanding landing

Re: Clashcityrockers Stage
Started the decalling on this today
The black walkway was done with a black Sharpie. I probably should have let it dry for a day or two before spraying a gloss varnish over it. I'll touch up with black paint later. The decals behaved well, only one "N" in the NAVY titles, and the white swoosh on the tail broke a little. Should get the rest on tomorrow
Colourful aint it? Still need to find a suitable stand to mount it on. I've got a piece of acrylic already.

That really is a very striking scheme and looks great, Nigel. There'll be no missing that one in your collection!

Re: Clashcityrockers Stage
Hmmmm?! I was thinking how nice a kit that is and how I'd like to make another, something about the decals on the tail is making me think, "Just do it!"

Something is drawing my eye with the colours too. Like the scheme a lot.
