ISTR the Harrier SIG ceased to be when the Harriers were scrapped. I was annoyed because, like you, I had built some and had lots in my stash to build. They'd even had a tour of Wittering (quite local to me) not long before I found out about the SIG. Very frustrating :roll:

EDIT: Just checked the IPMS site
http://ipmsuk.org/directory/harrier/;

The Harrier Special Interest Group provides its members with a network of VSTOL enthusiasts and modellers for the exchange of P.1127, Kestrel and Harrier information, via our many references and extensive contacts; which include serving and ex RAF and RN pilots and ground crew and a very famous Harrier test pilot. Il get on to contacting them soon.

Here she is:

I'm really pleased with how she's turned out and with my modelling mojo at an all time high I cracked on with a model of the Sukhoi SU-7 Fitter that had been partly started when it was given to me by Chris aka Falcon!
Il leave a pic here of were I got too but all pics of this build will be going into the Cold War SIG section as she is being built for Scale Model World 2017:

Yes, a lovely, extensive effort for the year. Well done!
I'm slightly confused with the 418sqn codes on the night-fighting Spitfire. They are all very fine models, though.

Thank you everyone for your kind comments!
59North - Please excuse the squadron markings.
This model was built between as a break from a bigger build that still hasn't been completed yet.
I didn't have any decals for a night fighter Spitfire and the only ones I could get hold of has grey squadron codes and I really wanted red so I found these in my stash and I thought they worked beautifully so I'm happy with them!

No problem at all. The red codes look lovely; and making us happy and having fun is what the hobby is all about. I'm no rivet counter either.
I only noticed the TH codes because 418 was sponsored by the closest city to me. And I mean to model a number of that squadrons aircraft before I die.
