Re: Maverick231's Workbench
After a tuff time moving house(thanks to a curtain letting agent), I decided to try and find out my 3rd Russian aircraft.
So here are the 3 sisters:
I will start these birds very soon.

Re: Maverick231's Workbench
ShaunW - Thanks mate, they are amazing looking aircraft!, no not yet but tonight I plan(doesnt always happen) to make a start on the Badger tonight.
mjatx - il keep the thread posted when ever I make any progress .
In other news the Big V has had primer applied, Im unsure on how the filler has set so I may try and build up the layers of paint to bridge the tiny gap between the Wings and fuselarge.

Also I need some advice.
Would it be possible to use the same green in the TU-16 that is applied in this Lightning cockpit:

Re: Maverick231's Workbench
The Vulcan looks good under primer Mav. No idea re the cockpit colour I'm afraid and, to be honest, I thought EE Lightnings had predominantly black cockpit interiors, so that shows you how much I know

Thsnks mate, she looks alot more complete with paint.
Thats ok mate , Lightning's cockpits are mainly gunship(ish) grey but I applied it as a test.

Re: Maverick231's Workbench
I'm not sure about Tupolev cockpits but I do know a bit about interior colours used on Migs and other fighters. The USSR went through a "barf turqoise" phase from about the mid/late 60s to well into the 80s. Dark grey was earlier and light grey later.
A good Googling has shown up some contradictory images though. It seems it could be black or something akin to Japanese WW2 interior green or even the 'orrible turqoise shade. It's all going to depend on the particular aircraft being modelled.
